Personal Pronoun

Reflexive pronoun
Definition:
Myself, himself, herself, yourself/ves, themselves, ourselves, itself’ are called reflexive pronouns.

Examples:
I am pinching myself.
میں خود کو چٹکی بھر رہا ہوں۔
I am beating myself.
میں خود کو مار رہا ہوں۔
She defames herself.
وہ خود کو بدنام کرتی ہے۔۔
He will destroy himself.
وہ اپنے آپ کو تباہ کر دے گا۔
Relatives pronoun
Definition:
when, which, that, whom, who, are used between two clauses are called relative pronoun.
Examples:
The pants that I bought yesterday are already stained.
میں نے کل جو پتلون خریدی تھی وہ پہلے ہی داغدار ہے۔
Where did you buy the dress that you wore last week?
آپ نے وہ لباس کہاں سے خریدا جو آپ نے پچھلے ہفتے پہنا تھا؟
The book, when it was finally returned, was torn and stained.
کتاب، جب اسے آخر کار واپس کیا گیا تو پھٹا اور داغ دار تھا۔
Indefinite pronoun
Definition :
Any, some, someone, somebody, no one, nobody, many, etc. Are called indefinite pronouns.
Examples:
Everybody likes a kidder, but nobody lends him money.
ہر کوئی بچہ کو پسند کرتا ہے، لیکن کوئی بھی اسے قرض نہیں دیتا۔
I don’t know anything about music. In my line, you don’t have to.
مجھے موسیقی کے بارے میں کچھ نہیں معلوم۔ میری لائن میں، آپ کو کرنے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے.
Little is known about ancient civilization.
قد یم تہذیب کے بارے میں بہت کم معلوم ہے۔

Demonstrative pronoun
Definition :
This, these, that, those, etc. are called demonstrative pronouns.
Examples:
Those were mere excuses.
یہ محض بہانے تھے۔
This is a present from my mother.
یہ میری ماں کی طرف سے تحفہ ہے۔
That is the red fort.
وہ لال قلعہ ہے۔
Distributive pronoun
Definition:
Each, either, neither, etc. is called distributive pronoun.
Examples:
Each of the boys has his own book.
لڑکوں میں سے ہر ایک کی اپنی کتاب ہے۔
Either of two pens is blue.
دونوں قلموں میں سے کوئی بھی نیلا ہے۔
Any of these four pens is blue.
ان چار قلموں میں سے کوئی بھی نیلا ہے۔
Neither of these two pens is black.
ان دونوں قلموں میں سے کوئی بھی کالا نہیں ہے۔
Interrogative pronoun
Definition :
When, who, whom, whose, what, which, are used at the beginning of sentences as question words are called interrogative pronouns.
Examples:
What do you want for launch?
آپ لانچ کے لیے کیا چاہتے ہیں؟
What is your friend’s name?
آپ کے دوست کا نام کیا ہے؟
Which color do you like more?
آپ کو کون سا رنگ زیادہ پسند ہے؟
Which of these ladies is your mother?
ان خواتین میں سے آپ کی ماں کون ہے؟
